and three injured when a small plane crashed at 10:50 PM
this evening in Riverwoods after the pilot reported fuel
problems. The aircraft crashed near Portwine
and Orange Brace roads... about a block from K&D's

Bob's Past Presents:- Unbelievable! So, get this. Bob goes to NIU for a tailgate party where his former fraternity (Kappi Chi, which later joined the national Sig Ep fraternity... ) needs help in rushing (long story). Anyway, so this Sig Ep guy & I are talking and I tell him my name. He says, "You were a paralegal for Larry Raphael. You were the guy who gave my wife and I our daughter!" I go, "WHAT?" He says he still has my business card & describes the circumstances of that adoption, which I vaguely remembered. |
But wait, there's more. A bunch of us go out for food after the tailgate thing, including this guy. While we're all sitting at this big table, the guy says his daughter goes to NIU and is coming to the restaurant to meet me. So about a half hour later, this little cutie and her fiancé' walk in and sit down across from me. Whoa! Her father told her who I was & how I fit into her life (she knew she was adopted). We chatted for a while and then – off we went, on our separate ways. Life – Ya know? Ya never know! | |||

so here's what we got. Phunclubers return from Key
West and schlep the hot weather with them. Though
mainland members are pleased they returned - they coulda
lepht (as Michael observed) the coffee pot environment
off-shore. In Colorado, Leslie remarks that it's hot
there too - but it's a DRY heat. The photos on the left were taken by PhC members to document a portion of their dashboards. Note: K&D's car is evidently brewing coffee. |

And not a second to soon. On the 20th, he noticed
his sump pump's backup battery had failed. So he picked up
and installed a new one. |
The next day a major rain & wind storm hit,which blew down one of K&D's trees. The next morning, there power went out. But don't worry cuz... Kenny's got a brand new bat...tery. | |

| Are You Scam-Ready?:- So this outfit called Epsilon handles some marketing stuff for a bunch of big outfits. As a result, Epsilon has the email addresses and names of a bazzilion people; customers of those outfits that Epsilon services. Well anyway, some hacker broke into Epsilon's system and took all the email addresses and collateral names stored there. | The hacker/s now know which email info / names are related to what firms. A PhunClub member's fraternity brother has already been hit with a scam email, ostensibly from Best Buy, that infected his computer. For a list of the outfits that had their email lists stolen, click here. And be careful about clicking on email links from any of the firms listed. | |
